A collaborative space for art and assembly
Chase Public brings artists and audiences together. We welcome to the stage poets sharing their poems for the first time, nationally touring writers and musicians, and others in between. Helping artists share their voice and helping audiences listen is Chase Public's vision of empathy through creative practice.
Projects
Short Order Poetry
Since 2011, Chase Public has been writing poems with strangers. A poet has a brief conversation with a member of the public, then turns the stories or situations they shared into a poem, for free.
CincyInk
To bring Kurt & Kremena's Tattoo Project to Cincinnati, ArtWorks invited Chase Public to write a poem in the form of a love letter to Cincinnati. The poem, "Seven Hills and a Queen to Name Them," would be posted on buildings around Cincinnati and tattooed on individuals who call Cincinnati home.
